Mossfraser is totally committed to protecting your privacy and we will only use the information we collect about you in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 1998. The information collected is necessary for us to process orders, competition entries, online surveys and to record Mossfraser.com registrations - required when you set up a personal account to purchase from Mossfraser and/or to receive our emailed newsletters.

We will only email you in the future if you have given us your consent by opting in to our email newsletter, which will be for the purpose of new products and promotions from us only. We will not share your details with any other persons or companies and you will be able to unsubscribe at anytime.

The information we will collect about you could include: name, mailing address, telephone number, fax number, mobile telephone number, email address, waist size, chest size, age, gender. Credit/debit card details are NOT stored and will be requested each time you make a payment to Mossfraser.com. Any personal information we hold will be held securely in accordance with Mossfraser’ internal security policy. Mossfraser does not collect or pass on any sensitive information to third parties. Nor will we pass on or sell your email or mailing details to third parties. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date, based on the most recent information you have given us. You can check any details held about you on Mossfraser.com by e-mailing us - inaccuracies will be deleted or corrected promptly.

Cookies

Mossfraser.com uses cookies as part of the mechanism to hold the contents of the shopping basket during each visit that you make to the site, and as such we require both permanent and session cookies to be enabled.

There is no requirement to have 3rd party cookies enabled for our site to work, however we occasionally carry out market research, which a third party assists with, during which they may issue a cookie from our site. Some of our carefully selected affiliate partners may also issue cookies so that they can track sales at mossfraser.com through them. If 3rd party cookies are not accepted it does not affect the functionality of our site.

Security checks

As part of our policy to protect against the fraudulent use of credit cards, we carry out random security checks on orders. These can take various forms, and may involve contacting you by telephone before your order is processed.

From time to time it may be necessary for us to ask you to provide a copy of a recent statement header for the card being used on your order. Please note that we are only interested in confirming information already provided on your order, i.e. the billing name and address and card issuer details, and do not need to see actual transactions, which can be covered up. Security Guarantee

When you place an order, for your convenience we offer to retain your card details. These are maintained in a secure format. However, if you prefer that we do not maintain these details, you can go to 'My Account', click on 'Your Card Details' and delete any card information

Safety and Security Tips

If using a public computer or terminal, always log out and close the browser when you complete an online session.

Keep your passwords private. Remember, anybody who knows your password may access your account.

When creating a password, use at least 8 characters - a combination of letters and numbers is best. Do not use dictionary words, your name, email address, or other personal information that can be easily obtained. It is also recommended that you frequently change your password.
